Official opening Dunea visitor centre

My most fun project to date
Last Saturday the 15th of September, His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander and Her Royal Highness Princess Máxima of the Netherlands opened the new visitor centre 'De Tapuit' of my employer Dunea.

I was projectleader for the educational exhibits and displays and responsible for writing the vision & ambition and supervising the design phase on behalf of Dunea. This has been one of the most fun and exciting projects to date, because it combines my passion for our dunes with my passion for telling people from all ages about the wonders of the natural world. It was also very fun to create ideas for games, hands-on objects and other elements of the exhibition. You might think you have seen it before, but look more closely... they all come with a twist :) You might also recognize some of my own photographs. In addition I also shot some special underwater footage in my spare time.

Perspekt Studios came up with a great innovative design. It is very interactive and we are able to change the content, making our 'bezoekerscentrum' always up to date and ever changing. The modern and clean interior design also creates an interesting contrast with the old building, designated as a Dutch National Heritage Site.

So far reactions have been very very positive. I'm very proud what my colleagues and me accomplished here. So... if your in the neighborhood, be sure to check it out. More info can be found here.
