Exhibition: animal portraits
I’m pleased to announce an upcoming exhibition in Dunea’s visitor centre ‘De Tapuit’, showcasing some examples of my work. It’s titled ‘Animal portraits – painting with light’ and shows intimate portraits of a whole range of European species: from mammals, birds, amphibians to insects. Most species are portrayed against an even and soft background (a style I’m very much comfortable with).
My exhibition will be decorating the walls of their visitor centre and next door activity centre from 29th of March till the 30th of April. You can reach the early 19th century buildings – located in the middle of beautiful nature reserve Meijendel – either by car, on the bike, on foot or on horseback 😉 It’s also a great chance to visit their newly decorated visitor centre if you haven’t already! The address is:
De Tapuit – Bezoekerscentrum Dunea
Meijendelseweg 40
2243 GN Wassenaar
More information about the visitor centre can be found here, including detailed opening hours and other activities. With every photograph in the exhibition, I supplied information in both Dutch and English. The high-quality canvas prints are for sale, so please drop me an email in case your interested. Thanks to Profotonet for helping me make this possible and for their excellent service.
